What kind of glue do you use to repair a porcelain collectable?

My daughter broke one of her birthday girl figurines. Can I use any type of craft glue or is there a preferred kind? Thanks!

    Now, I must admit – I always used elmer’s glue on figurines – the advantage was that you could overglue, and then fill any gaps with the overflow with your finger and not be concerned that you’ll have to unstick your finger from the figurine.

    Make sure your hold it together tight for a couple minutes, then let it dry a day or so.
