Have you ever received a Christmas gift from someone that YOU gave THEM the previous year?
My ex mother-in-law gave me an angel figurine that I had given her the year before. Just one of the many reasons she's my "ex" mother-in-law.........

LOL …. yup, my grandpa gave me this toy car I had givem him like 2 years before …. poor grandpa … he’s kinda old (88 y/o)

Not yet, but I’m expecting to soon. We have a re-gift in our family. It’s a Homer Simpson Chia Head that gets passed from family member to family member on Christmas and birthdays.
My dad’s ex wife’s mother gave them a blender that they had given her the year before.
On my husband’s side of the family we do White Elephant gifts, (he has a HUGE family) where you give something that you already own. It’s kind of funny, because I’ll get gifts that I’ve seen in other people’s houses. It’s also kind of sweet because you can give people something that they’ve commented that they like.
Yes! my sisters. She gave me the same Cappucino maker that i gave her the year before. She made such a big production of it, I just let her think that she was doing something great, but I think she was having a "Senior Moment" at 40.

Yes, I have. It could have been terribly sad, but I chose to see the humor in it instead, so although part of me felt badly, the laughter helped to make it funny & a good memory.
