Enough gender studies he/she.. What is the sweetest thing your SO has ever done for you?
3 years ago, during a move, a special edition Precious Moments figurine that my dad gave me before he died got lost. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it.So I started looking for a replacement so I would have the memory, still no luck. About 4 months ago my SO was supposed to be going on a fishing weekend with friends, he came back with an exact replica. Turns out he found one listed online at a collectibles store in COLORADO but the wouldn't ship it. And he couldn't get airline tickets that late. He spent the whole weekend driving down to pick it up.
I did get lucky
. I figured everyone was mad that I was "ragging" on him and men in general, so I went for a cheery topic.
Lmao@M2Jax
Lmao @ Dog Busy, can I see Australia from that beach in Arizona???

Buying me a Patsy Kline cd right after my mother died… one that we had listened to together all the time, but I had lost years before.
Working a cash side job, and on the way home, stopping to buy me a diamond ring.
As he was leaving for a company kayaking trip, he gave me my mother’s day gift and card early…. 2 tickets to go see Queensryche.
Calling me yesterday morning from work to tell me he loved me and missed me.
I guess I should stop now.
~eta~ Nikki, I strongly suspect that you are crazy for yours, too, and rightly so ! He sounds like a keeper !
Aww, keeper!
The best thing my SO did for me? Leave, lol!
That’s sweet.
That’s pretty awesome Mz Nik. You really did get lucky.
That is really sweet! I have a Precious Moments story as well. My grandmother collected them in the 70’s and then passed them on to my mother. My mother passed them to me and I had about 20 in a curio cabinet. The day after my wedding I walked into my house to find them shattered in pieces on the bottom of the cabinet (my two year old had played ‘dolls’ with them and broke them.)
I cried all day and night. The next day, I came home from work to find them all back in the cabinet in almost perfect condition. My husband had taken the day off and spent it gluing the pieces back together. Made my day!
aw.
my hard-core atheist husband, raised in a communist country, bought me a christmas tree and decorated it and had it all ready for me as a big surprise.
He got me pregnat with a babby. If that’s not sweet, I dunno twat is.
Awe that was sweet of him. My husband always does nice things, but the oddest one he did I didn’t expect was when I first got pregnant, I was 12 weeks and had an awful craving for dairy queen ice cream. Needless to say he surprised me and drove me almost 3 hours away to get ice cream!!! he was so sweet and I was so happy lol.
Awww that made me smile
How sweet!!!
My husband is actually quite romantic. I can’t pick one, so I’ll go with the way he proposed to me- we were sitting on the beach drinking wine (me underaged of course) and writing things in the sand, and he told me to turn around. When he told me to turn back around, he was down on one knee and had written "Marry Me, Leanna" in the sand, and I immediately cried and said yes. Now that I write it down it doesn’t seem so stunningly romantic, so maybe you just had to be there
Probably the funniest was when he made me go on a stupidly long hike, I think I was about 4 months pregnant with our second child and just wanted to sleep, and I was hating him SO much by the time we got to the top- where we reached just as the sun was rising (yeah he made me hike through the night on top of it all) and there was a little cabin he’d filled with flowers and music to play and candles to light etc.
Whenever I get random text messages or phone calls during the day, just saying "I love you" or "I miss you". When he drove to McDonalds at 2am the other night because I suddenly felt like fries. That he’s been working from home the past few weeks because I wanted him as close as possible. Love him!
Cute Q!
