Any tips on how to redecorate my room?
OK, my room is light blue, and covered in Twilight posters, a few photos on the wall, and a calender. On my shelves, I have some of my dad's things, figurines, snow globes, small storage compartments, and then my Wicca shrine. My bookcase, of course, has my books on it, and a few storage compartments, and my science project. My desk has a basket, a picture of my boyfriend, a lava lamp, a pencil sharpener, and a regular lamp. There are also some games and my writing binder. My dresser is packed with stuff. My hair stuff, deodorant, perfume, nail stuff, some pictures, poems, certificates, a lamp, my jewelry, and my collectible Edward and Bella dolls. I have instruments spread across my room, three guitars and a piano.I also have some shoes on the floor, a container with all of my slippers and shoes and such. On my headboard for my bed, I have my library books, movies and CDs, my old glasses, my glasses case, my flip video camera, and my book lights. There's also a magazine and my alarm clock. Sorry for such a detailed description. I need to find something to do with my room. It's very crowded and cramped. My mom thinks if we rearrange a little, then my room will be great. We can't paint or wallpaper until this summer.

There is too much needed to determine what you want,
I think the place to start is to get nice wicker baskets. One to collect each of the groups of items that you listed in your question.
The baskets should have a way to put in label on them. That way you know your Dad’s things, your jewelry, hair stuff, and etc. Try to toss out stuff as you are loading up the baskets.
Especially try to get rid of books, movies and CD’s that you will probably never use again-
but you think that you have to keep! (NOT!!!)
Buy new book shelves that will hold all of the baskets or make space on the shelves you already have- or put them neatly in your closet.
-Get stackers and organization items to stack up stuff on your desk and clean off the surface.
You will be amazed at how different your room will look.
Then you will be ready to start the redecoration process.
Note: this is how they do on HGTV. But usually they take out everything-including the furniture
and then get a fresh start.
